Salena toured Japan again in July 2005 appearing at various Festivals and Jazz Clubs.
In August the prestigious US "Virginia Living" magazine sent over a writer to interview Salena - " ....... for a full-length feature article in Virginia Living. This would be a retrospective of her career and a recounting of her great music.

She was in Tokyo again in November starring at the JVC Jazz Festival, appearing with her great Japanese Trio, before returning yet again for her December tour.
